When and where is the next Pine Tree Apple Tennis Classic (PTATC)?
The 39th Annual Pine Tree Apple Tennis Classic is scheduled for August 1-4, 2024, at Life Time White Bear in White Bear Lake, Minn.
Can I play in the tournament?
There are three adult divisions based on age in the Pine Tree Apple Tennis Classic: Open (Men/Women any age), Masters (Men/Women 35+) and Grand Masters (Men/Women 50+). Most participants are local tennis professionals, current or former college players and players who have a USTA National Tennis Rating Program (NTRP) ranking of 4.5 or higher.
There is also Junior Pine Tree Apple Tennis Classic which takes place August 3 at Life Time Bloomington South and the finals on August 4 at Life Time White Bear with the adult tournament finals. The Junior Pine Tree tournament features players of all ages and ability levels at the 11U, 13U, 15U and 17U levels.
All players are also asked to fundraise as part of their entry into the tournament. The recommended ask is $750 per player, with many players raising thousands of dollars to support pediatric oncology research at Children's Minnesota and around the world.

What is the Pine Tree Apple Classic Fund and how is it tied to the PTATC?
In 2018, the Pine Tree Apple Tennis Classic (PTATC) Advisory Committee formed its own entity - the Pine Tree Apple Classic Fund (PTACF). This Minnesota non-profit corporation is committed to continuing the longstanding PTATC tradition.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes, your donation is tax deductible. Pine Tree Apple Classic Fund (PTACF) has been determined to be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our tax identification number is 82-4314989.
