When and where is the next Pine Tree Apple Tennis Classic (PTATC)?
Hoping we can all come together once again, the 2021 Pine Tree Apple Tennis Classic is scheduled for August 5-8, 2021, at Life Time Fitness White Bear.
Can I play in the tournament?
There are three divisions based on age in the Pine Tree Apple Tennis Classic: Open (any age), Masters (Women 30+/Men 40+) and Grand Masters (Women 35+/Men 50+). Most participants are local tennis professionals, current or former college players and players who have a USTA National Tennis Rating Program (NTRP) ranking of 4.5 or higher. All players are also expected to fundraise at least $750 as part of their entry into the tournament and many players raise thousands of dollars to support pediatric oncology research at Children's Minnesota. What is the Pine Tree Apple Classic Fund and how is it tied to the PTATC?
In 2018, the Pine Tree Apple Tennis Classic (PTATC) Advisory Committee formed its own entity. This Minnesota non-profit corporation, Pine Tree Apple Classic Fund (PTACF), is committed to continuing the PTATC tradition.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes, your donation is tax deductible. Pine Tree Apple Classic Fund (PTACF) has been determined to be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our tax identification number is 82-4314989.
